Efren arrives during the first rain of May in San Anghel, Antique, a remote farming village, during the planting season. A relationship blossoms between him and Victor, who is wheelchair-bound after a bout with polio. Efren claims to be a godson of Victor's father. They soon discover the truth about their real identities.
